Cinnamon is high in antioxidants, has high inflammatory properties, and it may even cut the risk of heart diseases. It helps in lowering blood sugar levels, has a powerful anti-diabetic effect, and aids in fighting fungal and bacterial infections. An overdose of cinnamon can also cause liver damage, mouth sores, rapid decrease in the sugar level, and breathing problems. Cinnamon’s benefits and disadvantages completely depend on its dosage.
