Citronella is not considered safe for babies and children less than 2 years of age as it is quite strong and could possibly be swallowed by them, which can eventually turn deadly. However, you can use a smaller amount of diluted citronella topically in children as a mosquito repellent. If you are using a product containing citronella, first read its label instructions to ensure it is safe for your baby.

No this can lead to serious indigestion if consumed. Babies dont know what they’re having but a mother does right so be careful
