Bananas in general have very little iron in them.

Cooked bananas have a higher iron content as compared to raw ones. But in case of iron absorption it’s vice versa. There are places where people actually eat bananas as a staple food and that too to treat anemia.

I think banana contians non-hemp iron, which means the iron present in it cannot be absorbed by the body.
