Studies have shown that drinking chamomile tea every night has many benefits. It eases anxiety, is good for digestion and also eases any pain brought about by inflammation. It improves skin health and eases muscle tension. However, lactating and pregnant women are advised to consult their doctors before consuming chamomile tea.

I read one of the research papers which says that it is safe to consume 1 to 4 cups of chamomile tea per day. However I limit it to one cup a day.

I have had sleep problems since I moved to a hostel. I constantly have the thoughts of my mom. Her death shook me so much that I became insomniac. I initially got addicted to sleeping pills. Thankfully my hostel friends noticed the problem and helped me do away with it. They got me some herbal teas to try and I finally settled for camomile tea. Drinking it just before bed time helped me sleep better. I found out that it has good calming effects on the body and induces sleep. Finally after 7 months of struggle my life is back on track and without using sleeping pills.

Chamomile tea is a non-toxic sleep remedy!!!!!!!!!! Firstly, it contains no caffeine so your sleep cycle is not disturbed and secondly, it is tasty. I love the aroma. It just sets my mood right. Put some jazz on, sip a steaming cup of chamomile tea and relax.
