Inhalation of tea tree oil is fatal when taken in high amounts, although it is not harmful when the inhaled quantity is low. Tea tree oil is mostly used to cure skin infections like acne and nail fungal infections. It is used as a local antiseptic as well. Other benefits of tea tree oil include curing vaginal infections, infections of mouth and nose, sore throat, ear infections etc.
