One of the significant symptoms of vitamin A deficiency is night blindness. Other than that, one may experience a dry, thick, and flaky skin, dandruff, thickened tongue, throat and skin infections, and sore eyelids. One may also show signs such as shortness of breath, frequent tiredness, and dry eyes.

Night blindness is the most common symptom of Vitamin A deficiency. Other common symptoms include:
-inflammation and/or infection issues with eyes, ears, mouth, sinuses, lungs, urinary tract.
-infertility; particularly in women
-respiratory infections
-increased risk of cancer
