Fine ground wheat is used in the form of flour to make bread. It is also used in making alcoholic beverages, beer, explosives, and industrial alcohol that is made of synthetic rubber. The starch is used for pasting and sizing textiles. Straws of wheat are used to make carpets, mats, baskets, and packaging material. Some other products derived from wheat are pasta cookies, wheat bran, and muffins.
