Abdominal pain may be due to indigestion or muscle strain. The main causes of stomach pain are gastroenteritis, gas, acid reflux, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, stomach ulcer, menstrual cramps, and an infection in your urinary tract or bladder. Some not-so-common causes of lower abdominal pain are appendicitis, kidney infection, hepatitis, and food poisoning.

It can be either cramps or acidity. You need to get yourself checked by a physician

You can self evaluate yourself in this case. If you have acidic stool which means you got serious stomach upset
