Where do baby carrots come from?

Baby carrots are young, full-sized carrots which are picked out when they are young because of their texture and sweetness. Their tops are snapped off and washed with a small amount of chlorine which is added to the water. They are sliced into 2 inches apiece. Following this, the harvesters store them for five days and later sent for packaging.

Carrots that are not fully grown are called baby carrots and they’re uprooted at early stages itself
