Why do spicy foods cause a burning sensation when you poop?

Not all food gets digested immediately. Spicy foods contain capsaicin which does not break down during digestion, and an excess of it disturbs the pH balance of the stomach, thereby causing irritation. It might lead to a burning sensation in the intestines and at the time of pooping.
