As long as you consume the water and the cucumber they are for all practical purposes the same. All the nutrient and water enter your body.

Hi there, as a golden rule, always remember that eating the vegetable will result in greater nutrient benefits. You also get the fiber which is lacking in the water.

So many health sites profess the “secret” almost magical benefits of various fruits and vegetables. But if you look their nutritional value on the package, they give a generic bland accounting of the benefits and nutrients. Their is no mention of the trace elements, nor the hidden benefits of the product. Why is that? I would think by mentioning these little known treasures, it would be in the best interest of the farmers and marketers to do so.

Hey!! Your body needs water to function properly. Ideally, a person should aim at drinking 6 to 8 glasses of water daily. And while we know that we should be drinking water throughout the day, it gets boring at times to drink plain water. Adding cucumber to the water gives it a different flavor, encouraging you to drink more.
